Abstract

The right maxillary and right sinus is fluid-filled suggesting secondary obstruction. gl Incisional biopsy was discussed with the patient, but due to the high risk of bleeding, he instead elected to undergo endoscopic sinus surgery with stereotactic image guidance for surgical excision of the tumour. (b) A T2-weighted MRI scan of the paranasal sinuses demonstrated an enhancing solid mass centred in the right-side ethmoid cells with central cystic change/necrosis. A 56-year-old male with a history of right nephrectomy for clear cell renal carcinoma diagnosed in 2014 presented with longstanding right nasal obstruction (related to an incidental septal deformity) and new localized right nasal pain.
