Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the teaching competencies necessary for Arabic language teachers to teach using digital reading clinics for students who suffer from the problem of reading weakness, and to determine their attitudes towards using digital reading clinics in teaching for these students. To achieve the goal of the research, a questionnaire was built that consisted of (43) sub-adequacy distributed over the stages of the teaching process, and a scale of Arabic teachers’ attitudes in the primary stage towards the use of digital reading clinics in teaching was built. "High", where the arithmetic mean value in the competencies related to planning using digital reading clinics was (3.97), and the arithmetic mean value in the implementation competencies using digital reading clinics was (4.08), and the arithmetic mean value in the evaluation competencies for the lesson using digital reading clinics (4.47), as for the attitudes of Arabic language teachers towards the use of digital reading clinics in teaching reading to students with poor reading, they were “medium” in the planning and implementation stages, and “weak” in the evaluation stage. Design training programs for teachers before and during the service to train them to teach using digital reading clinics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
