Abstract
- This text constitutes the introduction to the monograph 152 of Revista Chasqui, which invites to discuss the imposition of a civilizational model based on the universalization of a particular vision, the Nordic ethos, and that has led to the subalternization and racialization of human relations, knowledge and subjectivities in colonized worlds. The circulation of the written word is considered as an exercise to (re)think Communication, its genealogy, its colonial difference, its critical aspects, its theoretical debates, its tensions and its main categories of analysis to continue tracing future trajectories that translate into a universal thought located, own, around communication, the result of the different polyphonies, subjectivities and experiences in Latin America.
