Abstract

(H&E, 4X) gl Discussion Calcinosis can occur for a variety of reasons, and we propose that the calcinosis cutis associated with our patient's linear type morphea is an example of idiopathic calcinosis cutis. Morphea, or localized sclerosis, is an autoimmune disorder that is characterized by inflammation and sclerosis of the skin. Rare presentation of calcification associated with long-standing linear morphea. [Extracted from the article]
