Abstract
- In this paper, we will calculate and compare parameters such as bending moment, axial force, and story drift in the context of "Analysis and Design of a Building with Floating Columns Using Different Slab Systems." The use of ETABSV18 was used to design and evaluate slab machines for G+5 buildings in seismic zone III with medium soil conditions. The slab scheme has been evaluated and laid out following IS 456-2000 and IS 1983-2002. The slab is designed for a single grid length of the column to see which slab systems with floating columns produce the best results, and the floating column placement is split into two cases for performance analysis.
