Abstract

The article focuses on the discovery of new helminth parasites infecting Enyalius perditus, an endemic lizard species in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. The study found five helminth taxa in the lizards, including Physaloptera retusa, Physalopteroides venancioi, and an undetermined species of Filariidae, highlighting the host's susceptibility to these parasites.
