Abstract

Aiming to analyze the combined action of the singing teachers and speech therapists with singers, five singing teachers, and five speech therapists answered semi-guided questions that were recorded and transcribed. It was concluded that singing teachers and speech therapists usually establish among themselves different and peculiar relations of action: contact, knowledge exchange, referrals, support, recognition, combined action, and interdisciplinary action. The research involves: several areas and professionals, and diverse sources of knowledge, terminology, goals, communication, interests, education, conceptions, recognition of theories, practices, techniques, productions, and specialists that use these resources to the vocal adjustments and welfare and further demands of the singers.
