Abstract
- The experiment was to study the effect of artificial combined diet and fresh diet on growth performance, muscle nutrient composition and digestive enzyme activity of Siniperca chuatsi. A total of 6 000 Siniperca chuatsi with an average body weight of 42.90 g were randomly divided into two groups, with three replicates in each group and 1 000 Siniperca chuatsi in each replicate. Each group was fed artificial diet and fresh diet, respectively, for 200 d of culture comparative test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in weight gain rate, specific growth rate, fatness and hepatobody ratio between Siniperca chuatsi of artificial diet and fresh diet (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in moisture and protein contents of fish body (P>0.05). The ∑TAA content of fresh diet group was extremely higher than that of artificial diet group (P<0.01). The EAA/TAA of two groups were 36.41% and 37.20%, EAA/NEAA were 66.85% and 69.52%, respectively, which met FAO/WHO standards. According to AAS, Val was the first limiting amino acid in muscle of both groups. The first limiting amino acid was Met+Cys in muscle of both groups when evaluated by CS. The content of EPA and DHA in artificial diet group were extremely higher than those in fresh diet group (P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the activity of amylase and lipase in liver and intestine between two groups (P>0.05). The study indicates that Siniperca chuatsi with high nutritional value can be cultivated with both kinds of diets, different diets have no obvious effect on growth and digestive enzyme activitiy of Siniperca chuatsi.
