Abstract
- This article is the result of research carried out during scientific initiation, based on whiteness's critical studies. The main objective was to elaborate a bibliographic review on the presence or not of the white individual in articles that deal with Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations (ERER) in History Teaching, using, as an analysis methodology, Michel Foucault's archeology of knowledge. After the analysis, it was possible to conclude that in the teaching of Brazilian History, the origin of racism is historically far from the white individual and that racism is considered a problem only for those who suffer from it, and not for those who benefit from it. It was observed that, although there are studies that relate whiteness to the History classroom, they are not published in the best evaluated journals in the field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
