Abstract

The disappearance of people is a social phenomenon that has grown around the globe in recent decades. The relatives of the missing person go through uncertainty as they are unaware of the situation in which their relative may be. This research has the objective of analyzing the context of the disappearance of adolescents in Mexico City. The files are the information source, which are protected at ethical discretion, from there we can obtain the initial psychovictim profile of the disappearance of adolescents, in which it is observed that the absences are voluntary and motivated by discussion, sentimental relationships or family problems. The usefulness of this study is aimed to the orientation in intervention programs, to the training of public servants related to mental health, and contributes to real-time decisionmaking in the search for missing adolescents.
