Abstract

The aim of this research is to optimize the production of graphene with modification electrochemical exfoliation reactor by using solenoid. The electrolyte solution is H2SO4 1M, the anode is graphite composite electrode that produced from 90% graphite powder and 10% phenol formaldehyde (PF), the cathode is graphite commercial electrode, the current for this reaction is 3A for 1 hour. The accumulator is connected to the solenoid, and the power supply is connected to the electrodes. The result of this research is using solenoid in the electrochemical exfoliation reactor can increase the results of graphene. Weight of graphene produced by using solenoid in the reactor is 1.24 g, while graphene produced by without solenoid in the reactor is 0.62 g. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
