El concepto cultura de la profesión en la educación médica superior cubana: una reflexión necesaria.

Professional culture is a complex and important concept in Cuba as result of the special attention the State and Government give to the integral education as essential complement of academic quality in Higher Educational programs. The aim of this paper is to make an up-to-date reflection about the concept of professional culture and its operationalization in the higher medical education in the country. Key programmatic and normative documents as well as the main papers and authors treating the concept were reviewed. The paper invite to discuss about the concept.
