Abstract

The multiple factors that control university quality in Latin America are complex, associated with disjointed processes and offer different theoretical perspectives. From this approach, the study seeks to establish university educational quality criteria from the teaching perspective that favor knowledge management with social impact. The methodology focused on documentary analysis, using critical reasoning based on hermeneutic assessment. Among the outstanding findings are the establishment of an integrated management-information system of the curriculum with an impact on internal and external interest groups, for the development of teaching administration with quality and efficiency. As mechanisms to promote the permanence of educational quality that allow the control and monitoring of management, multidisciplinary teacher training and educational evaluation through audits of substantive processes, based on supports of the ISO-9001:2015 standardization regulations, are proposed.
