Abstract

This article describes the improvement of volt standards based on the Josephson effect as a development stage of VNIIM quantum volt standards. The equipment was created and improved based on the "superconductor– insulator–superconductor"-type Josephson array for reproducing direct current voltages up to 10 V. This work presents the development results of transportable quantum standards based on the "superconductor– normal metal–superconductor" and "superconductor–insulator–normal metal–insulator–superconductor" Josephson anhysteretic arrays. The findings reveal that anhysteretic arrays can be used to reproduce constant voltages and voltages of the arbitrary form by approximating signals with Josephson taps and pulsed sigma-delta modulation, which reproduces voltages with a given harmonics level. The results of the study on the transfer of a unit of volt to the measuring channels of alternating voltages with high-precision analog-to-digital converters from the state primary standard of electric power units in the frequency range from 1 to 2500 Hz GET 153-2019 are presented.
