Raising the quality of Primary Education has emerged as an imperative social need, since students acquire basic knowledge and citizenship training tools, for their insertion into society. Faced with this reality, the quality of the director's performance becomes stronger every day, given the impact it has on the preparation of its teachers, for the fulfillment of the goal and objectives of this level. The present article aims to reflect on currents research and reflections about activity, leading and direction as well as on the performance of the director of primary education in the pedagogical management activity.
