Abstract
- The article discusses a study which examined outcomes of a cohort of renal transplant recipients with diabetes from a single centre with 12 months follow-up from commencing glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor analogues (GLP-1RAs) therapy. Topics include factors that contribute to development of pos-transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM), changes in metabolic and biochemical indices over one and two years, and reports of GLP1-RA use in transplant recipients.
