Abstract
- The article discusses that how a deeper appreciation of the ethical and political ideas of a handful of women challenges Germaine de Stael's representation of Immanuel Kant's "Copernican revolution" in epistemology and ethics as a great conceptual advance. It explores his preeminent position within German literature and philosophy to French and English audiences.
