Abstract
- Dear Editor, Female-pattern hair loss (FPHL) is the most common form of alopecia affecting women. Over one-third of patients were on a concomitant medication that could cause hyperkalaemia, and patients carried an average of 3.4 comorbidities that could increase the risk of hyperkalaemia (Table 1). Nine patients (10.3%) developed hyperkalaemia, with six patients having initial serum potassium values <= 5.3 mEq L SP -1 sp (range 5.0-5.3 mEq L SP -1 sp ). [Extracted from the article]
