The article discusses the influence and effects of social media on the behavior and self-awareness of users by examining the experiences and self-perception of online dating site Tinder users. Other topics include the relationship of social media usage to behaviors like objectified body consciousness and body dissatisfaction, and Tinder's competitors like Bumble and Plenty of Fish.
