Abstract

The article discusses a study on biodegradable electrohydraulic soft actuators that are sustainable options for soft robotics, published in the journal "Science Advances". The study presents the development of fully biodegradable high-performance soft actuators based on various biodegradable materials and demonstrates their reliability and compatibility with commercial robot arms, encouraging wider use of biodegradable materials in soft robotics.
