Abstract

This article considers the issue of increasing the energy performance of asynchronous electric motors in various sectors of the economy, which led to the intensive growth of production of small power electric machines for electric drives. Due to the high specific consumption of magnetic materials in the production of micromachines, a very promising direction is the development of electric machines with high energy performance for auxiliary asynchronous electric motors used in electric propulsion vehicles. The recent development of high-power, high-voltage IGBT transistor modules has made it possible to implement multi-phase power switches controlled directly by digital signals. Programmable computing tools made it possible to generate numerical sequences at the switch inputs, providing frequency control signals for induction motors. By increasing the (E-efficiency) efficiency and energy saving such electric drive allows getting new qualities of control, which is expressed in the refusal of additional mechanical devices that create losses and reduce the reliability of control systems with asynchronous electric engines.
