Abstract

Technological advances and endless pandemic conditions place teaching materials, especially those based on multimedia, as one of the principal needs in the learning process. The ease of operation of the media is the main attraction for its users. This study aimed to develop appropriate interactive multimedia for science learning which has a convenient performance for teachers and students. Product development referred to research and development by Borg and Gall was then simplified into five-stages of development, namely (1) product analysis to be developed or exploratory studies, (2) initial product development, (3) expert validation and product revision, (4) limited trial and product revision, (5) main trial. Data collection techniques used qualitative and quantitative methods of validation for expert judgments by the Delphi technique. The research result is interactive multimedia based on Power Point for science learning developed in 5 stages. The validation experts gave a validity rating of 73.14% and were declared eligible for use. Limited testing indicates the validity assessment at 79.09% with decent criteria. The principal test generates 98% excellent response. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
