REFLEXÕES SOBRE A METODOLOGIA CATEQUÉTICA: um caminho de aproximação, escuta e presença.

The catechetical methodology is based on divine pedagogy and has, as its principles, fidelity to the Word of God and the reality of human experience. The transmission of faith to new generations requires a procedural catechetical methodology. The challenges of our time demand a methodology that be within the scope of the Pedagogy of Presence, which proposes itineraries and processes as paths of approximation, encounter with the person, with the Word of God and with the Community. Such methodology goes beyond establishing goals and objectives, taking into account the reality of its interlocutors, the pedagogical sciences and the psychology of the ages; thus fostering an interactive process of maturation in, and within, the faith, of experiencing the encounter with Jesus Christ, of community belonging and of social commitment.
