Caracterización fisicoquímica del agua de la planta potabilizadora Guarumo, provincia de Manabí, Ecuador.

The objective of this work was to characterize the quality of the water coming from the Guarumo water treatment plant through measurements of basic physicochemical parameters. For this, a selection of the parameters to be measured was made and these measurements were compared with the values established in the Ecuadorian Technical Standard INEN 1108-2014, Fifth Revision. The results show that the basic parameters to take into account are turbidity, temperature, residual chlorine and pH. The parameters analyzed comply with the requirements established in the standard for the period of analysis and can be used to permanently monitor the quality of the water and it is concluded that the water is of good quality.
