Abstract
- The article discusses research which examined the safety and feasibility of daytime-restricted parenteral feeding and its association with oral intake or nutritional supplementation timing in children following hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). The study evaluated weight change, glucose levels and time to tolerate oral feeding among the patients. Outcomes include hyperglycemia, increased risks of infection, intensive care hospitalization and nonrelapse mortality in HSCT recipients.
