Abstract
- This paper provides theoretical support for the preparation of CrMnFeCoNi coatings with excellent performance by laser cladding. These high-hardness TiC particles act as wear-resistant skeletons in the CrMnFeCoNi coatings. The mass loss and friction coefficient of the coating with 7 wt% TiC are reduced by 72.22% and 12.39%, respectively, compared with the coating without TiC after wear at room temperature for 1800 s. However, the skeleton characteristic of the TiC distribution is broken down in the coating with 13 wt% TiC. The mass loss and friction coefficient of the coating with 4 wt% TiC are reduced by 51.89% and 16.73%, respectively, compared with the coating without TiC after wear at 873 K for 1800 s [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
