Abstract

One type of wireless network, Wireless Ad hoc NETwork (WANET), is arranged in a disaster zone with the objective of acquiring patients' data and enhancing medical prerequisites. WANETs are poised for various compact nodes dispersed in the disaster zone. The nodes in WANETs are competent enough in sending the collected medical data and storing in Cloud instead of in a single server. The limited bandwidth with less concentric secured storage and retrieval of huge medical data necessitates secured and data storage in Cloud to maintain the service quality of WANETs. To address this issue, we propose an optimization-based medical data compression and encryption technique, which ensures data security and high performance data retrieval in Cloud via WANET. We propose a Walsh and Scalar Quantized Singular Value Decomposition technique to deliver the compressed medical data that maximize the lifetime of WANETs. Next, Miyaguchi Preneel Encryption Standards are utilized and applied to the compressed medical data that not only improve the security aspect but also ensure high performance data retrieval by a single key for both encryption and decryption. The utility of the proposed method is exhibited with simulation results.
