Uşak Eski Sanayi Alanında Kentsel Dönüşüm: İşyerlerinin Kullanım Düzeyine İlişkin Durum Çalışması.

The aim of this study is to determine the current usage situations of the workplaces built within the scope of the Uşak Old Tannery Environment Urban Transformation Project Application, which was completed and opened for use in 2018. Secondly, it is to identify the factors that prevent the revitalization of the area and the increase of human mobility in the area, and finally, based on the collected data, to make predictions about the future of the region. In this way, it is hoped that by taking the necessary precautions, its turning into a collapsed area can be prevented. In the literature review, no other academic study was found on the revitalization of the mentioned urban transformation area. In the research, the qualitative research method and "case study" were used. In this context, interviews were conducted with a total of 17 people from the categories of the homeowner, local tradesman, out-of-region tradesman, estate management and workplace management, using a semistructured form. The research findings indicate that the occupancy rate of the workplaces in the region can only reach 1/3; showing that it is far from the expectations in terms of sectoral diversity.
