COVID-19: διερεύνηση των αιτιών, των κινδύνων και προτάσεις στρατηγικού σχεδιασμού αποδοχής των εμβολίων

The pandemic of COVID-19 disease from the day it appeared until today has brought to humanity a particularly high number of deaths among the infected. This review deals with the analyzation of the causes that contributed to the outbreak of the disease, the depiction of the disease in numeral forms and the highlighting of the importance and type of actions that could be taken by governments and health systems. The elements of the work are based on studies, research and examination of graphs that describe the morbidity of the infection in its international monitoring systems. The results show that individual beliefs, social and economic level affect the acceptance of the vaccine as a way to deal with the pandemic. Vaccination is an important weapon in the fight against the disease, but it takes a lot of effort to achieve universal and complete vaccination. Targeted actions are proposed, aimed at changing distorted perceptions about vaccine safety and disease risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
