Reading is widely recognised as one of the most fundamental and vital abilities for learning and mastering any language, particularly the second language .Digital media, such as the Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA- Arabic website) which is the sole authentic and official source that publishes news in Malaysia, are among the means and strategies that help build reading abilities. The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach by monitoring, explaining, and analyzing the role of Bernama Arabic Site in improving the reading skills . It also used the questionnaire tool to formulate accurate and specific questions .The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of students at the Kulliyyah of Languages and Management in IIUM -Pagoh. According to the results, digital media has an important and influential role in improving reading skills. However, it has several difficulties for Arabic language students, such as less appealing and entertaining media resources, using the proper media and equipment, and having enough internet access.
