The article focuses on the role of social connections in refugee integration and their pathways to social and economic integration in Scotland, England. Topics include the different forms of social connections categorized into three domains social bonds, social bridges and social links; the variations in scale and purpose over time as social connections can have different purposes; and the importance of friends and informal contacts in fostering social support and well-being.
