Abstract

In this study, to clarify the effect of ATG and other factors on blood CsA levels in AA patients, we conducted a retrospective analysis of blood CsA levels from 45 AA patients treated with CsA. Indeed, there have been case reports of abnormally high blood CsA concentrations measured by the ACMIA method in patients treated with the combination of CsA and antithymocyte globulin (ATG) [[7]]. Dear Editor, Cyclosporin (CsA) is an immunosuppressive agent used to treat aplastic anemia (AA), but its narrow therapeutic range and inter-individual variability in pharmacokinetics mean that therapeutic drug monitoring is essential [[1]].
