Abstract
- Nowadays, much has been said about the inclusion of children with special needs in regular education, proposing an adequate relationship for students with special needs in their educational development adjacent to "students considered normal". Given the above, this work aims to seek the theoretical basis for the inclusion of students with special needs in Physical Education activities. As for the methodology, it was used as a research instrument, the bibliographical research around scientific articles, monographs, thesis of scholars in the area in question. This is an analytical and exploratory research on the topic discussed. With the results obtained, it is concluded that the inclusion of students with special needs in the activities of the Physical Education discipline brings great benefits to the development of these students with such needs. Therefore, the research proves the great relevance of this discipline taught by competent and trained professionals for the inclusion of these students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
