Folk medicine, which is carried out by those who have therapeutic power, is a respected and respected practice in the society, and it is known that healers have healing properties with medicinal plants in mythological epics. The resurrection motif in Turkish epics can also find a place in the healing motif. In order to regain health, practices such as healing of wounds are carried out in the resurrection of the deceased. Magical words, herbs and sacred objects used in healing or resurrection gain meaning with the mystical power of words and rituals. In this study, after focusing on the place of treatment in human nature, its importance and curatives, the practices of folk medicine, which are found in Turkish epics that show their existence in a very wide geography, will be tried to be revealed and analyzed.
