Abstract
- The article discusses the link between oral health and eye health. Topics include a study published in the "Journal of Glaucoma" in 2017 which concluded that poor oral health, an altered oral microbiome, and the number of missing teeth may be considered risk factors for glaucoma pathology, factors that may influence the makeup of the eye microbiome, and contributing factors to glaucoma.
