Abstract

This article analyzes aims to perform an analysis of the discourses of twelve Brazilian bills law projects that aim have as proposal the to prohibition of the use of gender-neutral language. To do so, we depart start from a discussion on Foucauldian governmentality to and elaborate a description of the topology of government in Brazil today according to the order of late neoliberalism and Christian-Neopentecostal morality -- considering its effects for the LGBTQIA+ population. We then move on to discuss the invention of gender-neutral language and the agonistics it makes work to, finally, analyze three strategies of the bills: that of the hardening recrudescence of the language-nation people pair, that of the production of public enemies, and that of the invention of a childhood to be protected. We close the text with observations about the production of abnormality and monstrosity today, aimed at increasingly problematic framings for dissent from heterocisnormativity.
