The article presents a case study of a 07-year-old Thoroughbred mare with estrus behavior. Topics include ovulation fossa being perceptible on both ovaries where the left ovary being approximately half the size of the right ovary; and speculum examination revealing minimal bruising of the vagina and vestibule, and a contracted cervix.
