Abstract

This study is part of the subproject "Initial education of teachers who teach mathematics through pedagogical residency in numeracy practices in public schools of Belém-PA", of the Pedagogical Residency Program, Edict No. 01/2020, mathematical curricular component, of the Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education, linked to the integrated degree course in Sciences, Mathematics and Languages of the Federal University of Pará. It aims to report and analyze the proposition and implementation of a sequence of activities on fractions with classes of the 6th grade of elementary school of the School of Application of UFPA. Methodologically, this is a qualitative study, developed in the following stages: theoretical studies on fractions, diagnosis of learning levels of students of the 6th-grade classes, elaboration of a sequence of activities, implementation of this sequence, availability of electronic forms on the use of applications and learning about fractions by students and analysis of the constituted material. From the answers given to the forms, it is possible to infer that the use of these applications allowed understanding aspects of fraction content in a playful way. From learning, we consider that this practice can be incorporated both in remote and face-to-face teaching to mobilize meaningful learning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
