Rose painting still maintains its currency today. The collection is performed in the form of a sheet or album. The aim of this study will be to examine the rose painters from the 16th century to the present day in the Art of Illumination, to examine the rose-themed flower depictions made in the art of illumination, and to analyze them with today's practices. The attitudes of rose applications to meet the current needs of illumination art will consist of design examples that can contribute to the application areas in terms of design, pattern, technique and coloring in line with today's needs and tastes.
