The article deliberates on the question about truth in three different approaches. At first, a biblical contribution is sought in the Gospel of John, which recognizes truth in the horizon of grace, Christology and relationality-communication. In a second moment, it analyses Luther's interpretation of Galatians 2 from 1531/5, in the triple perspective mentioned above. At last, the modern development of Lutheran/Protestant Theology is considered in behalf of how it dealt with the three aspects presented in the Gospel and appropriated by Luther.
