this writing aims to be a critical reflection of the psychoanalytic notion of hysteria in light of the contributions of gender studies. It makes visible how, from an interdisciplinary intertwining from the notion that the author proposes of "renunciation gesture", different perspectives can cooperate in deconstructing psychoanalytic categories broadening the horizons of both theoretical and clinical approach. The objective is to carry out an interdisciplinary work in order to seek a psychoanalytic science that thinks from complex logics and is more committed to the current socio-historical-political and gender movements.
