Abstract

The article offers information on the goal of measles and rubella elimination by 2023 adopted by India. It further discusses about the national strategic plan for measles and rubella elimination; introducing rubella-containing vaccine (RCV) into the routine immunization program; goal of measles elimination and control of rubella and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS); and also mentions about the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF.
