Abstract
- The precariousness that conditions the musician's work has multiple articulations; one of them is the structural precariousness that neoliberal policies and the music industry accentuate in the world of musicians' work. A theoretical reflection is presented to approach the understanding of musical work in the current contemporary economy from the category of non-classical work. Categories are proposed to analyze musicians' work and how, with the current health crisis of SARS-Cov2, musicians have had to face a double crisis: precariousness and pandemic.
