Osteoporotic severe vertebral compression fractures (OSVCF) with neurological symptoms (NS) is a severe subtype of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF). Since various factors need to be considered, including patients' own condition, nerve injury, spinal deformity, bone quality and associated with others diseases, surgical strategies are much more complicated. For OSVCF with neuro logical symptoms, it is more necessary to grasp the overall, comprehensive analysis, and to formulate appropriate surgical strategies. With the continuous progress of research on the treatment of OSVCF with neurological symptoms, a comprehensive and personalized approach of therapeutic concept is gradually accepted by the people.
