Abstract

I see my journey to ecumenicity as having significant similarities to that of my church, from a spiritual ecumenism to a more structured ecumenism. PEFA ecumenicity (1940s-70s) As mentioned above, the theology of William Seymour, father of the Azusa Street revival, was paramount in shaping how ecumenism within PEFA would be perceived and practised. Some of the notable classical Pentecostal members of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya are the Redeemed Gospel Churches, Christ Is the Answer Ministries, and Deliverance Churches of Kenya. As a member of a classical Pentecostal church in Kenya, the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA), I am a testament to the significant changes that have happened as far as ecumenicity is concerned.
