O Uso do Ultrassom na Lipodistrofia: Um Estudo Bibliográfico.

Localized lipodystrophy is among the main aesthetic dysfunctions that affect the female public looking for aesthetic treatments. This dysfunction affects the adipose tissue, also known as the subcutaneous layer of fat or hypodermis. For the treatment of localized lipodystrophy, some techniques have been indicated, such as the use of ultrasound. Given the above, this study aims to present the main impacts of ultrasound in the treatment of patients with localized lipodystrophy from an integrative literature review study. This is a bibliographic research to be elaborated based on previously published texts such as books, articles and dissertations. The texts will be collected in the virtual library, Minha Biblioteca, and in the Schoolar Google, Lilacs and Scielo databases. After an analytical reading of the selected texts, the organization of primary and secondary ideas will begin and, finally, the synthesis and writing of ideas for the logical construction of the work. Thus, it is believed that its results will contribute scientifically to the development of studies in the area of Aesthetics and Cosmetics as well as to help patients when deciding on technical improvements.
