Abstract

This article approaches the use of Competitive Intelligence (CI) in organizations. The research problem involves seeking an answer to the following question: What are the impacts of using competitive intelligence as a management strategy in companies? To answer this question, the article was prepared with the general objective of identifying the main benefits of using competitive intelligence as a management strategy in organizations. In addition, the concepts and challenges of its implementation will be presented, pointing out how competitive intelligence can be used to ensure competitive advantage. The study was carried out in a qualitative, exploratory way, based on a bibliographic review, seeking to highlight the impacts resulting from the use of CI in companies. As a result, it became evident that the use of Competitive Intelligence can help several business departments and ensure more efficient and effective decision-making. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
