Increasing the effectiveness of the Karadag Underground gas storage.

To increase the active volume of injected gas, there were analyzed current state, as well as technological and thermodynamic parameters of all wells and field equipment at the Karadag Underground Gas Storage facility. To determine the total volume of injected gas, a preliminary calculation was carried out for each of the Underground Gas Storage wells. Based on the results of field research carried out at the Karadag Underground Gas Storage facility, a number of scientific and technical measures have been developed to improve the efficiency of the active volume of injected gas and there have been presented technological result and economic efficiency of their implementation. The optimal thermodynamic and technological mode of well operation was selected during the period of gas injection and withdrawal at the Karadag Underground Gas Storage facility.
