Abstract

The article discusses the issue on whether it is ethical to conduct neuropsychological screening of children with visual impairments and how clinicians should handle visually impaired children. Also cited are the differences between neuropsychological testing and educational assessment, and how cortical visual impairment is caused by traumatic injury, brain tumors, and hydrocephalus.
