Abstract

They have provided new perspectives on the phenomena of contemporary praise and worship music, especially in the context of evangelical Protestant worshiping communities, the ways in which such music has come to be equated with worship, and what such music-making practices mean for the formation of congregations.[22] Perhaps the most pressing challenge to the work of liturgical reform today is what to make of the sudden shift, prompted by the Covid pandemic, to offering worship services via digital media.
